Position Accountabilities and Essential Functions:

•  Applicant should be able to deliver course content in a classroom setting.
• Incorporate field experience and technical knowledge into student presentations that emphasizes interactive, hands-on practice.

• The ability to deliver developed materials in an effective manner to attain desired outcomes and objectives and meet learners' needs.
• Establish and maintain a learning environment to actively and freely promote learner engagement and participation.

• The ability to communicate with clients in a professional manner to determine audience, training gaps, desired outcomes and training focus.

• Create and/or define instructional content for training.
• Ensure accuracy of instructional content.
• Ensure that the course and program are meeting intended objectives, outcomes and requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years' hands-on experience as operator with progressive responsibilities in major chemical plants
• Operational experience in a) distillation, b) reactors, c) pumps and valves, d) usage of process diagrams such as P&ID and PFD, e) process instrumentation and control, f) process troubleshooting, g) process lock out / tag out and operational safety issues, and h) common work processes of chemical plants involving environmental and quality issues (EH&S, SPC, six sigma, etc.)
• Prior teaching and leadership experience
• Product or industry-specific experience
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of Chemical Processing
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
