Experienced HVAC Tech to operate and maintain HVAC and associated equipment in a professional setting. Perform preventative maintenance on a routine basis as well as troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
This position requires the use of advanced skills to perform corrective and preventative repairs of buildings and equipment. HVAC repair & mechanical troubleshooting skills a plus.
Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include chiller, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, plumbing systems, roofs, drains, electrical and lighting.
Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
Review, create and maintain assigned work orders, utilizing assigned CMMS.
Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or efficiency opportunities.
Oversee work performed by outside contractors/vendors.
Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facilities maintenance. Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, preventative maintenance, etc.
Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as Fire alarm systems, fire pumps and related fire protection system equipment as assigned.
Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned; requesting outside assistance if/when needed.
Ability to use technology such as smart phones, tablets, computers, and web-based applications, etc.
Building Automation System experience is a plus.
Effective communication is essential via verbal or written.
Participation in an afterhours on-call rotation is required.
Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits.
Complete all required C&W Safety Training as scheduled monthly/annually. Maintain a safe workplace to comply with client HSE requirements
Comply with C&W Uniform Dress Code while working and maintain a neat and clean appearance while on the property at times other than working hours.
No supervisory role in this position.
