Monitors and adjusts sprinklers and all irrigation systems located throughout the golf course’s 250 acre turf.
Operates, maintains and repairs a complex irrigation system including leaks on the distribution lines, valve risers, electrical system, computer and irrigation control wire.
Reports irrigation breaks immediately to the Assistant Superintendent/Superintendent.
Performs preventive maintenance on the irrigation system including the lake re-circulation system and water features
Waters all golf course fairways, greens, practice areas, trees, shrubs, and adjacent areas.
Rakes bunkers and repair divots as needed.
Maintains all facility grounds, trees, and shrubbery.
Maintains and ensures all hand tools, power tools, and grounds keeping equipment are in good operating condition and securely stored.
Maintains irrigation inventory.
Conducts monthly checks of all sprinkler heads on the entire golf facility.
Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
Ensures an open and welcoming atmosphere that promotes skill enhancement.
Greets guests, maintains a friendly and inviting atmosphere, and promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
May be assigned to drive company vehicle on public roads, to and from Isleta Pueblo properties,
and/or other destinations, during shift.
Occasionally performs other duties as assigned.

Must be able to acquire and maintain Non-Key Gaming License issued through POIGRA. Required.
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation.
Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any days/hours as needed or required to meet business needs. Required.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Should not have had a driver’s license revoked or suspended in the last three (3) years prior to the date of the employment application. Acceptability will be determined by Risk Management. Driving records will be checked.  

Working knowledge of basic electricity and hydraulics related to an irrigation system (Toro NSN), including automatic valves and controllers, working knowledge of various types of pumps and pumping systems.
