Position Purpose: Perform field service of irrigation controls, radio systems and weather stations, primarily in the golf course industry. Diagnose and replace modular components on electronic equipment associated with golf course irrigation.  Find and correct faults in buried wiring. May require occasional light digging, working with golf course sprinklers and valves, and working on construction sites as equipment is being installed.

Essential Job Functions:

• Partner with Sr. Service Technician with a goal of becoming proficient in all areas of Golf Course technical services business
• Develop a working knowledge of golf course irrigation products such as computer hardware and software, wired and wireless networking
• Develop technical proficiency with all irrigation products with emphasis on ability to troubleshoot and repair products
• Learn the processes and requirements to utilize and maintain documentation for business purposes such as service orders, billings, warranty claims, activity reports, etc.
• Position requires occasional travel outside of the United States

Position Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid Driver's License and meet the Company’s requirements for vehicle driver
• A good driving record
• High School Diploma
• Must be legally eligible for employment in the US (I-9 documents required)
• Understanding of entry level electronics
• Basic computer literacy: Windows environment, MS Office programs
• Ability to read and speak English fluently
• Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required
• Must be able to pass Standard Drug Test, Criminal & Background Checks and have a Clean Driving Record
• Must possess a valid US Passport

Physical Requirement and Work Environment:

• Work tasks require the ability to exert physical effort in routine work, including routinely lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling moderately heavy objects weighing 20 to 50 pounds
• Ability to dig holes and trenches to troubleshoot or replace irrigation products and equipment
• Able to work from the top of a twelve-foot ladder
• Tasks are typically performed on a golf course with potential exposure to temperature conditions, extreme heat in the summer and cold in the winter. Tasks are also regularly performed with the potential exposure to other conditions, such as insects, birds, rodents, moderate rain, wetness and humidity due to working in an outside environment
