WHAT YOU'LL DO
This position is a global key contributor to overall commercialization of transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) product lines including the Portico™ valve with FlexNav™ delivery system and next generation Navitor™ TAVI system.
This position leads Global Marketing Operations, assuring marketing materials and messaging developed by the global marketing team are operationally implemented by global regional field (sales) and training teams. An integral part of the Global TAVI Marketing team, this role collaborates closely with peers, global region sales leaders and TAVI training teams to assure globalization of marketing content.
The TAVI Global Marketing Operations Manager provides leadership and support to execute and manage global downstream commercial strategies and product commercialization plans. The individual in this position will be regarded as a deep technical expert with broad knowledge of related fields.
Illustrative roles and responsibilities for this position include:
- Develop competitive environment analysis and clearly define product positioning, key issues, strategies, messaging and target audiences for assigned product(s)/product lines.
- Thoroughly understand competitive offerings.
- Ensure Launch and post-launch success: Offer leadership to regional commercial organizations and country teams through successful launch.
- Execute the global marketing plan within global regions.
- Present product and marketing plans to internal management.
- Build strong relationships with region teams to ensure successful launch to new sites and collaborate to ensure launch of new sales enablement tools.
- Lead operationalization of global marketing content.
- Develop a strong partnership with global region field and training teams.
- Operationalize global marketing content at the sales rep level.
- Develop talk tracks to assure global consistency in operationalizing global marketing strategies.
- Become a leading source for competitive marketing / competitive intelligence.
- Internally market to assure marketing collateral is being used effectively in global regions.
- Aligns global field use and utilization of marketing content.
- Significant global region field engagement and collaboration.
- Works with Regional Field personnel.
- Build strong relationships with global key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintain a positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION YOU'LL BRING
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
- Minimum 3+ years of product marketing or sales experience working in healthcare, life sciences, or technology-based products.
- Experience working with complex implantable products in the medical device industry.
- Experience with strategic product launch commercial execution.
- Leadership skills/experience, including ability to map task interdependencies, prioritize tasks, and develop, monitor and operate within budgets as well as demonstrated ability to forecast major milestones.
- Ability to thrive in a broad enterprise/cross-division, highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization. Prioritize and meet deadlines in timely manner.
- Understand both the technology and capabilities of the Division's products, market and customer dynamics and functional operations across departments.
