Job Description: This position works 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM and scheduling may include mandatory weekends as dictated by Departmental management.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide timely response to work requests that are submitted through campus work-order system or through notification by campus personnel.
- Repair and maintain building electrical systems and components; including breakers, outlets, switches, ballast, light fixtures, etc.
- Repair and maintain building plumbing systems; including valves, faucets, traps, flush valves, toilets, etc.
- Repair and maintain building mechanical systems; including fan-coil units, hot-water heaters, etc.
- Complete preventative maintenance activities on building systems as assigned.
- Inspection and clearing of exterior drains, gutters, and downspouts.
- Delivery of equipment and supplies as directed.
- Accurate documentation of work activities and tasks completion.
- Adheres to all safety procedures and meets all safety requirements.
- Provide notification to supervisor(s) when additional support is needed.
Job Requirements:- High school diploma / GED.
- Minimum of two years facilities maintenance experience and / or construction experience.
- Valid / current driver's license.
- Basic computer skills.
Additional Information:Salary Grade: 105 Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.00 / hour
