WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Product Manager, U.S. Market Development is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of key market development programs, materials, and tools. This role is part of a dynamic and growing team that develops and executes high-impact therapy awareness, educational and promotional initiatives targeting key health care provider (HCP) stakeholders, such as General Cardiologists and Valve Coordinators, in order to increase awareness, interest and focus on our life-changing Structural Heart therapies. This role will reside in Abbott Structural Heart headquarters in Santa Clara, California and will report to the Group Marketing Manager, U.S. Market Development.
Develop and implement key market development strategies, programs, and tools focused on elevating therapy awareness and interest in MitraClip therapy.
Lead the development, launch and continuous improvement of novel digital tools and resources.
Develop and roll out high-impact marketing collateral, educational events, and training programs for referring physicians and hospital valve coordinators.
Create and manage field-facing data tools and dashboards to further enable the commercial team to make data-driven decisions.
Plan and lead participation in key industry conferences, including managing Abbott-sponsored symposia.
Gather and integrate strategic feedback and guidance from clinical thought leaders, including coordinating advisory board meetings.
Manage external creative agencies to plan, develop, and execute new marketing materials.
Partner with Regulatory colleagues in the review and approval of marketing materials to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Contribute to other key Market Development Team initiatives, including but not limited to market research, business planning, and conducting commercial sales team meetings.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Bachelors' Degree - Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering or Science.
4+ years marketing experience, medical device or healthcare industry experience preferred, MBA with 1+ years of related experience also considered.
Must be willing to understand and comply with Regulatory requirements.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to travel 20% of the time.
Ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively, internally and externally.
Experience with digital sales tools, educational programs, and sales force automation.
Proven ability to employ various flexible communications vehicles to drive messaging across a broad, varied and dispersed commercial organization.
Ability to create, analyze and manage large datasets.
Demonstrated experience successfully working with field organizations.
Ability to lead a team and work in a group environment, including interaction with Senior/Executive-level leadership.
